Hello! My name is Carrie and I am a 21 year veteran in the field of Early Childhood Education. 

Please note: I am currently only available these days & hours: Thursdays: 12pm-7 p.m. and most Fridays 1:30pm-6 p.m.  

I have loved being a nanny and helping children grow and learn throughout my career. I approach each day with enthusiasm and creativity, observing children's play and interests, and then creating activities based on those observations. My goal is to understand each child individually, learning their strengths and weaknesses in order to help them achieve developmental goals. I believe it is vital to understand a child's physical and social-emotional needs in order to fully care for them and understand behavior patterns. Carrie takes care of our 14 month old little boy. She is super friendly, patient, and thoughtful. Miss Carrie is very playful and joyful. It has been great having her around our boy. We can already see his social skills growing with her help. Super  recommend!

We had the pleasure of having Carrie care for our 2 boys for over 1.5 years, and we cannot recommend her enough.  From day one, she was a warm and nurturing presence in our home and it quickly became clear that our boys were in wonderful hands. 
Her background in education truly shone through in everything she did. It felt like our little one had his own private teacher!  She helped him with his ABCs and always found new and fun ways to engage his curious mind. Whether it was a nature walk, reading time, or creative play, she never stopped finding ways to inspire and nurture their learning. 
She brought such creativity to her interactions with the boys, often diving into imaginative play with them. She loved taking them outside - whether it was walks to the park, visiting the “little library,” or spending time in nature, she always found ways to make their experiences feel magical. 
I often said Carrie reminded us of Mary Poppins - kind, fun, and always present in the moment, making everyday with them an adventure.  We truly felt our family was lucky to have her as part of lives. Miss Carrie made a lasting impact on our boys, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and love she gave to them. 


Carrie is great! Every morning my son just can’t wait Miss Carrie to arrive. She read books and sing the songs to him. She truly loves caring about children. My son loves Miss Carrie.

Carrie was amazing with our son and helped with his progression in speech and sleep. 

Carrie is the first babysitter I've ever used and it was nerve wracking for me and my kids. But that went away quickly once she arrived. She truly loves caring for children. She is compassionate, understanding, reliable, and caring.

Carrie was marvelous! She immediately was tuned into my 1.5 year old and was so attentive and thoughtful about her needs. She was very understanding about the circumstances (elderly grandparents in the home while she was babysitting). And she brings extensive early childhood development experience to her work.

Carrie was my daughter's nanny briefly. My daughter usually takes her time with a new care giver but she got attached to Carrie immediately and seemed happy in her presence.  We found Carrie to be very professional, responsive and helpful. We would hire her again in a heart beat.

Carrie was our nanny from the beginning of 2020 until the middle of 2021. We only stopped working with her because she and her family moved cross country. We miss her so much! She is an extremely experienced professional caregiver and our children just adored her. They still play with little toys and games she made with them, and they sing songs and use silly catch phrases she taught them. We were so lucky to have her and are jealous of whoever hires her next!

My children's time in "Miss Carrie's" loving and watchful care was simply the best. Hands-down, she is the most attentive and dependable childcare provider we have ever used. I am one who always feels guilty when I leave my kids in someone else's care, but with Carrie I never felt that, because honestly, their time with her was so enriching. She did music with them, they explored nature together, they read books and did art projects and had tea parties. She is someone who truly cares for the children she is in charge of. She became more than just a nanny - she became a dear friend.

As a fellow Nanny and a preschool teacher, I have seen Carrie with a few families over the years. She is very honest, punctual, hard-working, and very nurturing. Any family would be very lucky to have her as an employee. She works very very well with any age group which is very rare. She is confident and flexible. She will treat your children as she treats her own. She is creative, and appropriate. She takes direction when needed very well and is a real team player.
