Nanny notes Hi! My name is elsa I am 25 years old and living in west Philly! I moved to Philadelphia April 2023 from Minneapolis. I have been in the child care business for over 6 years. At 18 I got a job at an after school daycare program where I watched up to 40 kids afterschool and planned different projects throughout the week, supervised playtime, provided meals and overall hanging out with the kids! At 22 I got a job with two beautiful kids as a nanny. I was with them 4-5 days a week along with date nights and a couple of sleepover over nights. I took care of the baby, providing meals, naps, diaper changes, art and food projects, playtime and more. activities I enjoy with kids are baking, LOTS of outside time, parks, picnics, crafts, reading, movies on our later nights, singing and dancing and more. With the baby too I learned and applied a lot of early learning skills like learning to talk, colors, shapes, numbers, and just the overall new discoveries of life!

Elsa watched our son part time for 1.5 years between the age of 7 months and 2 years. Our son adores Elsa and she grew to feel like one of the family. Beyond being responsible and diligent, Elsa was a source of creativity and play for our son — coming up with developmentally appropriate activities and taking him on adventures all around the city. We felt safe with him in her care. She was even calm, level headed and trained for a real choking incident. It’s obvious Elsa loves children and has a real way with them. She gets on their level and really met my son where he was at every day. She was very responsive and respectful of how we wanted our son to be raised and asked thoughtful questions on our preferences. Elsa was also incredibly communicative about our son — his schedule, anything she noticed in his behavior, things he was enjoying, etc. Elsa did a lot of meal prep and snack planning for us which was an enormous help on days we were busy with our newborn and working. Elsa was a real joy to work with and a real asset as a childcare provider for our son. She will be missed by all of us!!
