Children out of school for the summer? This teacher is too! I'd love to bridge that gap for a wonderful family. I'd describe my personality as patient, honest, & caring. I like working with kids because I like to make a difference in the lives of children, I've taught elementary school for 23 years. I'm looking for a job that gives me an opportunity to serve a family in need of a trusted, reliable, experienced, & nurturing caregiver. I started working with kids when I was in my early teens; babysitting, then moved on to be a full-time nanny. I'm currently a 4th grade teacher. My experience also includes teaching 2nd and 3rd grade; thereby covering ages 7-10. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my own teenager, or my closest friends. I enjoy reading, painting, & doing yoga or Pilates. One thing you should know about me is that I've been where you are; I've raised my own child, who is now an independent teen.
