About Carrie

Hello, new friends! I am a 36yo outdoors lover, expert snack preparer, college graduate and artist. I was raised in a big, loving family, with 5 kids, and 15 nieces and nephews (and counting!) - so I have been surrounded by children my entire life. My parents were home health care nurses for many differently-abled, foster care children over the years. I was taught that everyone is worthy of love, affection, and attention. I was an art teacher early in my career, teaching art to k-8th grades. During the pandemic, I nannied full time for a 3yo & 5yo and became very close to them. It transitioned into part time, and eventually into help around the house such as move in/out packing and house needs. I feel honored to say the girls still ask to spend time with me after 5 years, and that makes me so happy. I love watching children grow into new skills and newfound independence, while I support their questions, nervousness, and growth with love. I can't wait to meet you!
