About Carolyn

My passion has always been working with children! At a very young age I knew that I would make childcare my life choice. I have worked with children in various settings for 27 years. I am a kind and easy going person. I love helping people and making others smile! I know how incredibly important the first 5 years of a child's life is. I like to build a strong connection with parents so we are all on the same page. This ensures that the child has a strong foundation of trust and what to expect from all of us. I love to help infants and children explore and learn about the amazing world around us, with a strong foundation of trust, nurturing, kindness, curiosity, confidence and self worth! I support teaching children emotional, social and behavioral skills and awareness they can carry with them as they grow. I have an excellent ability to observe and understand infant and toddler non verbal cues and body language. West Seattle area preferred. LGBTQ+ friendly is a must!
