About Carolyn

Hi! My name is Carrie! I am an experienced educator with an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor's degree in Business, and 5+ years of professional classroom teaching experience in early childhood. I have worked on a consistent basis with young children, as well as elementary age students. I truly enjoy helping children build knowledge and confidence in whatever ways I can! I consider my tutoring approach to be patient, encouraging, and individualized. I like to take time to understand how each child learns so that I can best create a supportive environment for them to ask questions, practice skills, and feel comfortable making mistakes. I can provide support with reading, writing, elementary math, homework, study skills, and kindergarten readiness. Whether your child's could use some help strengthening their academic skills, completing their homework, or even just gaining confidence as an early learner, I am so excited to help as their tutor!
