About Carolyn

I find great joy in working with children, especially young children, and helping them grow. I like to find creative ways to get children outside and explore the world around them. I revel in storytelling and find it beautiful to help facilitate for a child the process of learning different ways to express themselves and learn about their environment. I prefer to be interacting/engaged versus watching a screen. I value a healthy lifestyle and find balance in my life through meditating, dancing, nature walks, cooking, singing, reading, and fostering relationships with my community. I practice mindfulness and value open and honest communication. I feel that I have found a good balance in finding a way to mentor that is fun and engaging for the child but also provides gentle redirection when needed. I find joy in raising children, keeping the house tidy, creating and mending clothes, and preparing food to nourish others. I would like to help make your family's life easier.
