About Caroline

I was the primary caregiver for my mom going through chemo treatments after several surgeries as well as for my dad with advancing Alzheimer's. When my mom was hospitalized, I decided I needed help. Caroline was recommended to me by the hospice social worker so I thought I'd give her a shot! My husband and I along with our 3 children interviewed her on a Wednesday night after work and she was able to start Thursday morning. We all knew she was the perfect person to care for my parents, but it only got better! We had hired a caregiver agency in the past but my dad hated everyone they'd send out. It made it very difficult to get him care and give me a break. My dad instantly loved Caroline from the start. She was able to work with my dad before my mom was discharged. When my mom came home from the hospital, we started her on hospice the next day and Caroline became my mom's favorite. With this heavy decision, she was there right beside me to help my parents get the BEST care possible. She ended up being a live in until my mom passed away. In my mom's last few days, she thanked me for getting Caroline and asked if she could take care of my dad as well. We had her stay on for my dad until he passed away. Through it all, my family and I couldn't believe there was someone like Caroline out there. She was truly a gift from above! Thank you my sweet sister ♥️
