Hello! I am a high school English teacher who is relocating to Austin in early June. I have 2 years of experience teaching at the high school level and 1 year of experience teaching at the university level. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English from Southern Methodist University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Science in Child Development from Texas Christian University. I have successfully tutored individuals in English as well as ACT prep. The average student I tutor sees a jump of 6 points on the ACT! I am a very compassionate and patient individual and I am a very hard worker. I believe in providing my absolute best to the children and families I serve. I am available to tutor this summer from June 10th-August 1st and I am happy to meet at your home or a public location.
