Specializing in "one-time," hotel/wedding guest infant and child care. I'm more interested in occasional than regularly scheduled 'gigs'. I'll bring games, books, art projects and lots of love. It's like having an Aunt or 'extra Grandma' nearby. I have many years of experience with newborns through teens and 15 years as a public school teacher, mostly K-2nd (now retired). More experience with boys, including my now adult son, who's Autistic. As a 'tomboy' myself growing up, and living with a son, I relate well with boys' sometimes silly energy. Crafts, too. I love imaginary play, baseball, swimming, bicycling. I am both fun and firm; employ Positive Discipline, and re-direct children, through singing, art and other humorous methods. A Spanish-Bilingual elementary school teacher for many years, I am fluent. Je parle francais aussi. We can sing songs, everything from finger-play for little ones to playing baseball, soccer, art and drama, etc. My emphasis is always on activity!
