My experience began by taking care of my mother who suffers from COPD and a physical disability. She is on oxygen 24/7 and needs assistance walking. I took care of her laundry, cleaned her home, did her grocery shopping, her her with bathing and dressing. I made her meals and when times got really bad I slept in her recliner next to her bed over nights. From there I went to work for Venerate home health where I assisted patients with some of the same things as well as just keeping them company or watched over them so the families could have some relief.
