About Carmen

I am a mother of two adult dsughters and have been married for 31 years to a LCSO deputy. I hold a two year degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and a two year degree in Early Childhood Education and Development. I have extensive background in working with children, primarily 0-18 months old in a variety of settings and abilities. I spent 10 years as an OTA in geriatric facilities, where I worked closely with those with alzheimer's, dementa, post stroke, and many other conditions. Between my time as an OTA, personal experiences, and time spent as a Hospice volunteer, I am completely comfortable with death, and life leading up to it. I enjoy gardening, baking, biking/hiking/obstacle course races/triathlons, reading and diy projects. I also have a musical background in piano, French horn, and chorus, though I don't practice much anymore. I look forward to meeting you and your family and learning more about your specific needs!
