About Lauren

My name is Lauren and I have four boys (aged 1. 5 to 9 years old). Over the last decade, I've worked as a church nursery attendant, marine camp counselor, kids jump rope coach, full-time/part-time nanny, tutor, and even played Disney princesses for children's Valentine's day balls. I've cared for infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children. I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and those with learning disabilities, including one of my own who has ADHD. I have reliable transportation and two car seats (one infant car seat and one toddler). I'm comfortable in homes with pets and am happy to help care for them while you are away. As a former nanny, I did light housework, laundry, prepared meals and helped with homework. I have a master's degree in English and love to help children with reading and writing. I currently work for the state 8am-5pm, and am available for care on week nights and weekends.
