About Carmen

Hi, my name is Carmen and I have been teaching art and special ed since the early 90s. I currently teach at Burnsville high school in the resource special education position. I mainly teach English language arts and reading recovery. I have worked with ages kindergarten through age 21 I also have a masters degree in education and a masters degree in art and I'm certified in Visual Arts, specific learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, and emotional disabilities. I started my own business and it's called Shiloh arts. co and it's a private school that focuses on the whole child, including art and biblical principles, math reading, and special education. I have a heart for helping people and children and I'm very creative. You would choose what you want your child to learn. In the future I will be offering ESL as I am working on getting certified and I have some training and experience working with ESL as well.
