I have 24 years of experience with 6 lovely families! I have experience with newborns through toddler and typically leave the families I work with once their children start school full-time. I enjoy being hands-on with the kids, a lot of play time at the park, visiting the library, local markets and local age appropriate activities. I do child related cleaning (breakfast & lunch dishes, toys, etc.) as well as food preparation for the kids. I have a valid CA license. I was born in El Salvador but am now a US Citizen. I am willing to speak Spanish to children if parents want them to learn a second language. I am very excited to meet my next family!

Carmen looked after our son from when he was 6 months old until he was 2.5 yrs old (by the way, we added a second son during that period, whom she lovingly looked after from literally his third day on the planet). We parted ways - very regretfully - only because we moved cities at the end of June, 2021. Our boys were always tremendously well-taken care of: happy, healthy, engaged, and enriched. Carmen was never late one single time, was always willing to stay late if we needed, and always left our house cleaner (ok...much cleaner) than she found it. She earned our unconditional trust. Carmen quickly became so much more than a nanny; she truly became a trusted part of our family. Whomever gets a chance to welcome her next is seriously lucky!
