About Emily

Hello! I am Emily, 27 and a semi-local to Long Beach. A little about my childcare background, I have been around children all my life, from helping my mom take care of local kids to helping her teach art at her local elementary school. As a young adult, I previously nannied for families long and short term. I'm great with homework help and taking kids to after school practices and other activities. I've previously held a position as a summer camp director as well! In addition, I have also worked with children with special needs, known and unknown. Regarding my educational background, I graduated in May 2020 from Cypress College with three associate's of arts with emphasis in separate areas including math and science, social and behavioural science, and arts and humanities. As well, I have completed a BA in Geography at University of Colorado, Denver. I have previously been CPR and first aid trained, and am open to being re-certified if necessary. I look forward to meeting new families!
