About Carmen

I have been in a caregiving role most of my life whether with family or professionally. Many have told me, caregiving comes naturally to me. It's probably why after all these years, I've started my own caregiving business in 2024 - Solicitous Caregiving LLC. I picked solicitous (even though it's a difficult word to pronounce) because the meaning describes my approach when it comes to service - showing great interest or concern and attentive care. In addition, I take great pride in being person-centered and person-driven. I have BA in Gerontology & Multiculturalism & MS in Community Mental. I am a WI Certified Caregiver & certified in CPR/AED/First Aid. I am currently studying to be an End of Life Doula and Grief Educator. I am married with fur-children & live in a multi-generational home. I enjoy nature, camping, art/being creative, reading & love watching our Milwaukee Admirals.
