About Carmen

I am a 49-year-old female looking to supplement my current hours of employment by doing what I love the most which is caring for children. I am currently working towards getting licensed to become a psychotherapist where I specialize in working with children and teens. I have over 20+ years of childcare experience teaching preschool, various nanny jobs (both live-in and live-out positions), working as a paraeducator for the Lakewashington School district, and as a Behavioral therapist working with neurodivergant children with Autism and ADHD. I have over 10 years of nanny experience working with twins, infants, toddlers and tweens. Although I don't have children of my own, they are my passion and working with them brings great joy to my life. I am an animal lover who owns a Cavapoo named Cowboy, who I spend a lot of time walking and playing with. I love to do arts and crafts, puzzles, read, hikes, board games, spending time with my family, and watching football.
