About Emily

Hi! I am a birth and postpartum doula in Birmingham hoping to take a little break from being on call (I just got engaged, so needing a little more consistency with my schedule!). I have been working with parents and children for over 12 years and have a strong passion for nonjudgemental support and helping to create a calm, fun environment for the family! I believe in all emotions fitting and in supporting development for kids of all ages! I have the most experience with newborns-toddlers, but have worked with kids up until highschool age. I also have experience working with kids with high support needs. I am engaged to a woman- so if you're not an affirming family, I am probably not the right fit for you! I also am happy to help with house keeping and meal prep if that's something that would benefit your family
