I am not really a writer but the boys (10 and 8) and I enjoyed having Carly watch them for the last two summers. My need for reliability was paramount and she never let me down. If my work schedule had not changed I would have scooped her up already for this summer as well. My 10 year is mild/moderate autistic and can be a handful when riled up. Carly not only kept him calm but got him to eat and even go outside from time to time. Her “teacher voice” kept a happy control of the house while I was gone while still letting the boys enjoy their summer vacation. I could completely focus on work and not have to worry about the boys all day. She will be missed.
