About Carly

Hey there! I was born in Boulder, Colorado and raised in Portland, Oregon and have always had a deep appreciation and love for working with children. From a very young age I began to realize the impact of having authentic, genuine and loving educators and caregivers. I have worked with many different age groups as a nanny, a special education aid, and an in-classroom resident teacher. I strive to create a safe space for each and every child I interact with. Throughout my career in childcare I have learned the importance of a compassion based approach and believe that patience and creativity are essential parts of creating this environment. In my free time you can find me outdoors, creating art, or fostering connection in my own personal communities. I am an extroverted, soft human who is committed to enjoying the tiny beautiful things in life.
