About Maria

I'm Maria! I'm an experienced educator and nanny with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. I have experience caring for toddlers through elementary-aged children and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I value clear communication and building long-term relationships with families. I hold a Master's degree in Education and Neuropsychology, which helps me understand and support children's learning and development. I started working with children over 12 years ago when my husband and I owned a soccer franchise focused on developing gross motor skills for children ages 18 months to 10 years old. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant, Substitute Teacher, and Lead Teacher. I am originally from Ecuador and fluent in Spanish, which allows me to introduce Spanish naturally through daily activities. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my familydrawing, and reading.
