About Carly

Hello my name is Carly! I am a certified teacher K-12 in all things music including but not limited to voice, instrumental, theory, and history. I have been a full-time teacher for 3 years and am currently on hiatus as I just begun my Master's Degree in Musical Theatre Performance at NYU. I come from an entire family of teachers. My mom, sister, and grandparents all follow the teaching legacy, and I am no different! I personally regularly play piano, saxophone, and bassoon however my emphasis is in voice and I am certified to teach any instrument. Teaching is my true passion I work hard to tailor content to each individual student. I would be happy to meet over the phone or in person to further discuss my qualifications. Thank you! I would describe myself as bubbly, patient, and a hard-worker! I use detailed planning, patience, and goal-setting to teach my students. I have been tutoring since high school! I like to use my free time to bake, take care of my cat, Bongo, and paint!
