I am a 25-year-old who lives in St. Louis Park. I have a BD in Therapeutic Recreation, but am perusing a Nursing Degree. I've worked with people with special needs for 7 years and have worked with people ages 3-60 who have had a variety of emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and developmental needs. Skills: -Degree in Therapeutic Recreation with Child Life coursework taken. -CPR Certified -First Aid Certified -Certified Nursing Assistant Experience: -Health Services Associate in the Special Education Department at Edina High School -Care Taker for children who were medically fragile. -Medical Facilitator/Program Assistant for children who had extraordinary emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs (including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, PTSD, ODD, Bipolar Disorder and general developmental delays).
