About Carlla

Hello families, My name is Carlla, and I'm a Brazilian nanny with 7 years of experience in the U. S., caring for children from newborns to teenagers (yes even the dramatic teen years!). I started as an au pair and have worked with many wonderful families, often caring for multiple children at once! juggling diapers, snacks, school pickups, and playdates like a pro. I currently work full-time for an amazing family during the week, but I'm available for extra help on weekends or weekday evenings after 6 p.m. I'm trilingual (Portuguese, Spanish, and English), recently completed a doula workshop, and bring a calm, fun, and loving approach to every stage of childhood. Back in Brazil, I helped raise my little sister from birth, so caregiving runs deep in my story. I'm based in the Peninsula/South Bay Area and happy to provide references.
