My name is Carley, and I am the owner and provider at Fiddlehead Friends Childcare LLC located in the North of Grand neighborhood in Des Moines. I recently took a step back from working for the public schools where I have over 6 years of teaching experience. I have earned a master's degree in education and have experience with Elementary, Early Childhood, and Special Education. My teaching experience has helped me to develop my priorities and values for providing childcare. Some of my priorities at Fiddlehead Friends are child-led play, outdoor exploration, eating nutritious food, and having a screen-free program. Fiddlehead Friends is opening in September (M-TH, 7AM-6PM) and is offering full and part time positions for children ages 1-4.
