Hello, my name is Carla. I have provided care to my great aunt who was totally bedridden. I know how to use hoyer lift if needed and know how to do all the things such as change linen, diapers, and clothing if hoyer lift is not available. This included bed bath, preparing meals and making appointments and go with her to doctor's appointments. My aunt is now in nursing facility where I still visit and do her hair, buy clothes, and have lunch or diner on occasion. I have also taken care of a foster child which had Down syndrome for a period of 1 year. I also currently minister at a Nursing facility where I provide not only spiritual support but friendship and love to those in need. I also provide at present housekeeping services to seniors and others in need. The senior care is usually once a month leaving me with a lot of time during the week. I also clean an office in Charlotte on Wednesday evenings which takes me at least 11/2 hours to do. I believe in using the talents that God has given me to help those who have a need for them.
