Hi families! My name is Danielle. (Care lists me as Carla but I go by my middle name). I'm seeking a flexible position that is around 20-25 hours a week. (Open to more or less.) I've been working with children for 11 years. I started with CHCCS. Following that I worked as a Pre-School Teacher. For the last 8 years. I've been providing in-home childcare, mostly as a nanny and I LOVE it. You can rest assured that your child/children will be loved, safe and have my undivided attention. I will foster their interests, encourage educational activities, and make sure they have lots of fun. I'm also excellent and maintaining schedules and and providing structure. Carla watched (and loved) my daughters starting at ages 8 & 10, respectively. Unfortunately my ex and I were going through an extremely difficult (to say the least) and polarizing divorce at the time and naturally it was so hard on the kids. Carla was able to provide consistency and support to the girls when they were with their dad. I felt so much better having Carla there to keep a loving eye and positive attitude during the time when I could not be with them. She had endless fun activities-slime making, baking, games & more-to keep them occupied and engaged (and distracted from the drama that surrounded us.) Carla was with our family until COVID hit, but remains in contact with us to this day (the kids are now 18 & 16!) She was such a vital part of their mental wellbeing and development. Any family would be so lucky to benefit from her services.
