About Carla

I'd describe my personality as: -Patient -Compassionate -Attentive I like working with kids because as a school psychology student I realize how important community is for a child's wellbeing. Children need adults around them who will nurture them and value them just as much as any other being. I'm looking for jobs preferably helping parents who need childcare during summer break. I started working with kids when I was 20 working for the Y of Central Maryland in their community schools program. I supervised and assisted students in after school programs. In my spare time, I like to watch reality tv and read self-help books. One thing you should know about me is I understand and value the unique personality of each child and their family. My skills include - Fieldwork experience with Child-Care -Class work Knowledge of Childhood Development -Safety and First-Aid Knowledge Creativity Skills.
