About Carissa

Hello! My name is Carissa, and I am currently seeking to provide childcare for 1 to 2 children in my home during the week. We are a blended family with five children ranging in age from 5 to 15, and I have many years of experience caring for children from newborns through the teenage years. My goal is to provide dependable, loving childcare in a safe and welcoming home environment while also being present for my own children. As a Christian family, we strive to raise our children with kindness, respect, and strong values. Our days are often filled with outdoor play, visits to parks, trails, and museums, as well as engaging hands-on activities such as crafts, board and card games, and creative building projects. I am intentional about limiting screen time. I truly enjoy creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and cared for. I would love the opportunity to be a trusted support and home away from home for the right family.
