CPR and First Aid certified. Experienced with memory care, stroke care, post surgery care, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities and medication management. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic and gentle. I like caring for seniors because it's a category I have years of experience and feel seniors require more delicacy and kindness. I'm looking for a job that I can work part time. I'm already employed with IHSS but looking to add a couple as needed shifts to my week. I started caring for seniors 9 years ago after my grandfather had a stroke. Since then providing care to my great uncle with Alzheimer's and another grandfather of mine with dementia. One thing you should know about me is I provide care with the utmost compassion. My skills include patience, gentleness and kindness.
