About Carissa

I've been working in child care since I was about 13 years old. When I turned 16, I began working in that field professionally. I've been a PE Coach, an art teacher, a camp counselor, and a nanny for the ages infant-16+ over the last 10 years of my life and have loved every minute of it. I'm trustworthy, optimistic, flexible, and love helping children learn and grow in a safe space. I don't smoke, I have a 4. 0 GPA, and I'm lifeguard, CPR, and first aid certified. I understand that trusting your child with someone new can be daunting, and so it is my goal to cultivate a healthy relationship, not just with your kids, but the whole family! If that means a meet and greet before hire or some way of making you feel more secure in choosing me to watch your kids - please let me know + I'm more than happy to accommodate that!
