About Cara

I'd describe my personality as up beat, consistent and reliable I like working with kids because I appreciate their energy and curiosity for the world. I love doing art and crafts and cooking, and getting outside and getting dirty. I'm looking for a job where consistency, clear communication and firm boundaries are held. I worked as a nanny well into my 20's. I started my own family when I was 25 and I have 2 grown adult children who are in college and living on their own. I am currently working on getting my BS in Health and Wellness, so school will be a main extracurricular for the next year. One thing you should know about me is that food is my love language. I am a grill master and I am comfortable with making anything from vegan, gluten free or low carb meals. My skills include communication, helping to resolve conflict and helping children learn healthy ways of expressing frustration or upsets. I am excellent at creative thinking, and time management.
