About Julie

I'd describe my personality as creative, curious, and easygoing. I like working with kids because they are so genuine and unique! It's fun to get to know their individual personalities, strengths, joys, and preferences. I started working with kids when I was 12 and have 6 children of my own from 3-23, so I've never stopped caring for children, even when not nannying. (4 & 5 y/o littles optional as play companions!) In my spare time, I like to crochet, read, hike, listen to music, and go to concerts, festivals, and markets. I am progressive and well-read and practiced in gentle parenting/caregiving, as well as in neuro divergent (Autistic/ADHD and otherwise) behaviors and accommodations - I run social media promoting awareness/education about this and more on the side. My skills include positive reinforcement and redirection, coregulating, and juggling multiple children at once.
