About Cara

I have worked in an office atmosphere for over 20 years and I'm looking to fill my days with work that is more rewarding. The experience I have is all of a personal nature although I do have an Associates in Human Services. My mother had surgery on a brain tumor about 15 years ago and suffered a severe stroke and brain bleed. She was left paralyzed on the right side, unable to speak and had to be fed through a feeding tube. My father kept her home for 6 years where he took care of her. We had people come in and but we as a family stuck together and took on a lot of the care that she needed. The help that we did have was great and the girls were loving and I could tell my Mother enjoyed her time with them. I would like to be able to give this kind of joy to someone in need. I also worked in the preschool setting years ago and that was quite enjoyable as well. I feel I could bring compassion, understanding, respect and joy to someone in need.
