Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. I have 20+ years of educational experience. During my time as an educator, I have been a librarian, math basic skills teacher, and a first grade teacher. I pride myself on creating a welcoming classroom environment, developing fun and engaging lesson plans, and building meaningful relationships with students, parents, and coworkers. I look forward to helping your child reach their academic goals through a positive experience. I'd describe my personality as fun, thoughtful and organized. I like tutoring because the one on one instruction gives a rewarding experience through academic achievement. In my spare time, I like to watch my son's sports games , read and do craft projects. One thing you should know about me is I believe feedback is important. I will provide weekly updates of your child's progress and goals for the following week. My skills include reading instruction, math, computation, and writing skills.
