About Camille

Hello! My name is Camille and I am a freelance artist, art teacher, nanny and events coordinator working and thriving in the Austin community since September 2013. As a teacher for 13+ years, I have brought art programming to a variety of learning environments such as private and public schools, nature-focused preschools, immersion preschool, after school programs and public workshops around Austin. When school is out, I run an art camps for children ages 5-13 called Crafternoon ATX. Much of my curriculum is based in outdoor learning and exploration, reusing and upcycling materials, social and emotional learning, herbal practices and story telling. Throughout these years, I have been a nanny for many families, helping raise their children from as young as 8 months old. Though most of my kiddos have outgrown a caretaker, I am happy to say that I'm still friends with these families. I value these relationships and the importance of staying in touch.
