Hello, my name is Camille! I graduated from CSU Bakersfield in May of 2019. I completed child development and teacher education courses. I am passionate about education and child development. I worked in a Montessori classroom which taught me positive discipline techniques, and I taught in a mod severe autism Pre-K class. I have a really big heart, and I treat all children like I would treat my own if I had any. The most important things to me are to ensure the child feels safe, loved, and understood. During my undergrad I nannied for a family for two years. I began caring for the child when she was just 6 months old, and I was able to help her grow and develop. I helped foster her social, emotional, and physical development and ensure that her needs were always met. I observed her sensitive periods of development, allowed her to have time and space to grow through those periods, and I transported her safely to her many activities.

I had the pleasure of having Camille babysit my daughter C. off and on from birth through age four, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. With my demanding work schedule, having someone so dependable and trustworthy was a huge relief. She consistently went above and beyond—keeping my daughter safe and happy. She also played a big role in helping prepare her for preschool through creative play, reading, and structured routines. Any family would be lucky to have her!
