Experience: 10 yrs
I am a Filipina and have worked as a caregiver since 2002, (about 12 years) until the present. During those years, I learned how these elderly and family members were coping with the situations, and felt I was a part of their plight. The longest I had was almost 3 years. The longer I worked, the more I became closer to them. I learned to love them. I am passionate with seniors, especially since I was the one who took care of my 90-year-old mother (she already passed away). I took care of my patients the way I took care of my mother. Even though we are not blood related, I felt I was already part of the family. They reminded me always of what my mother went through. I had the joy in my heart when my patients were happy, but when they were in pain, depressed and stressed, I sympathized with them. I know how it is to be in that condition. I told them you were always included in my prayers everyday. I gave them encouragement and showed myself to be in an uplifting spirit. We laugh when we cracked jokes. I told them laughter is the best medicine. I also had happy moments when I had clients who need only for companionship. I drove them around, went to recreation center where there was socialization among elderly, doing exercise, dancing or playing bridge at their house. These are just some of the past experiences that I can share with you and hoping that I can share it again with other elderly who need my help in the future. I am honest, dependable, easy to get along with, warm, friendly and loving Filipina.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing on behalf of Camila regarding the position of Care Giver. Camila is a pleasure to work with her very pleasant and positive attitude. She is a very hard and conscientious worker. She was always on time and went right to work cleaning my condo without me even asking her. She worked the entire allotted time without stopping cleaning and organizing my condo. She was happy to assist me in anything I needed or asked of her. Camila is organized, efficient, extremely competent, and has an excellent rapport with people of all ages. In summary, I highly recommend Camila for any position or endeavor that she may seek to pursue. She will be a valuable asset for any organization. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Mary
