I like caring for seniors because I believe they deserve more attention than they normally receive. I'm looking for a job where I can give support and compassion to others in need. I started caring for seniors when my family member became ill with dementia over 10 years ago. In my spare time, I like to read. walk my rescued dog, and do yoga. I raised three children on my own, one of them who is a mentally challenged adult now living in a group home. I am comfortable with pets, as I have a rescued large dog. My skills include having mentally challenging conversations with seniors and making them laugh. I can cook, clean, read to them and walk with them and take them to outings or doctors. I can help feed and dress them and keep their space clean.
