About Camaiya

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, helpful, and encouraging. I like tutoring because it provides me with the opportunity to help students excel academically while providing individualized instruction aligned to standards. I'm looking for a job that provides me with the opportunity to support a student's academic development. I desire to use my skills to help students achieve greater success and develop a love of learning. In my spare time, I like to read, travel, cook, and spend time with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is that I truly desire to help students learn! I am licensed to teach K-12 exceptional education, pre-k-3 general education, K-12 school counseling, and I have my administrative license to serve as a school leader. I taught pre-k, special education, and am a school counselor. I have my doctoral degree in education and am looking forward to continuing to help students learn and achieve success.
