Does your kiddo hate math? Do they struggle writing that research paper? Do they have higher needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD? If so, I can help! I have a degree in K-12 education, over 40 credit hours in Trauma Informed Care, and experience adapting lessons in all subjects for students of varying abilities. I believe education should be fun! My philosophy towards tutoring is to learn what interests each child and teach skills through games and activities that meet those interests. While I can tutor most subjects, my favorite subjects to tutor are Math, English, and Science, specifically for students in grades K-8. In addition, as a parent of a child with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, I have experience creating and advocating for 504 plans and IEPs. After getting to know your kiddo and working with them, I will also let you know any observations or accommodations I think could benefit your kiddo for the next school year.
