About Callahan

Hello parents! My name is Callahan, I am a recent UMASS graduate doing a year of service with AmeriCorps before starting my professional career! Growing up, my mom was (and still is) a nanny who has taken care of many children, usually infant to toddler age. I have been helping her my entire life, and I've had my own independent experience as well. I love babies and children, watching their brains work and finding creative ways to make learning enjoyable is so fun to me! I am empathetic to how overwhelming life can be to a small human who hasn't figured stuff out yet, so their big feelings never bother me. I think there's always a solution to be found if you're looking at the problem from a child's perspective. I love arts and crafts and science projects and would be happy to integrate fun learning or crafts whenever possible! I would love the opportunity to meet and discuss my experience further! I hope we can find a great fit!
