About Calista

I'd describe my personality as kind, respectful, and responsible. I like working with kids because I enjoy being part of their growth. Seeing a child gain confidence, especially when something is hard for them, feels incredibly meaningful. Kids are resilient, honest, and curious, and it's rewarding to support them as they develop new skills. I started working with kids honestly my whole life. When my little sister was born I was almost 5, and I would feed her so my mom could take showers. I babysat all of my little cousins growing up, some were only 3 months old when I started babysitting them as a middle schooler. I still babysit in college! In my spare time, I like to read, watch new shows, hangout with friends, and I'm really into diamond art and patch work now! My skills include patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children.
