About Caitlyn

Hi there! I'm Caitlyn, the heart and mind behind Rooted and Rising Preschool. For the past 15 years, I've dedicated my craft to nurturing, teaching, and supporting children from Preschool through High School, my own children included. My journey has taken me around the world, working in after-school care, international settings, and everything in between. It has been a lifelong dream to create a safe, engaging, and loving space right here in our home, bringing a personal touch to Early Childhood Education. "What should I expect from your preschool?" I believe in fostering independence, curiosity, love and appreciation for outdoors, and play-based learning. Most of our time would be spent outdoors with intentionality - utilizing the world around us to learn and build upon prior knowledge. I am an absolute open book and encourage you to reach out with any questions-I can't wait to get to know your family!
