About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, and caring for children is truly my passion. After three years as a lead preschool teacher, I returned to my roots last year as a career nanny in search of a more intimate and flexible role. I found exactly that in a nanny share caring for two infants starting at 4 months old. I had the joy of staying with them through their first year until I welcomed my own baby girl in November. Becoming a parent has only deepened my caregiving instincts and strengthened my passion for childcare. I'm now excited to find a new position where I can continue supporting children's growth and development. My approach blends Montessori principles with play-based learning. I believe children are capable and curious, and I encourage hands-on exploration to help them learn about the world around them. It's important to me to find a position that allows for daily outings and enriching experiences-ideally one where I can bring both your child and my own along for new adventures.
