Hi there! My name is Brooke. I started working professionally in childcare at age 18, As a former Lead Infant Teacher, I'm familiar with catering to Infants and helping them reach their developmental milestones. I'm looking for a full time role with great hours. I want to join a family who I can grow with (Long term position) My true passion lies in working with kids, and I'm thrilled to bring that energy and enthusiasm to your family. I'm all about staying active, whether it's going on nature walks or unleashing my creativity with fun and age appropriate sensory activities. I'm also juggling Army Reserves duties while planning to hit the books with some online schooling down the road. I get my Army schedule a year in advance so it's easy to work around. It's usually one weekend out of the month (typically Sat & Sun). I have great references, my own car, CPR & First aid certified, DCF certified, fully vaccinated, and my Rate starts at $23 an hour. Can't wait to connect and chat soon!
Brooke has been an incredible addition to our family! When our prior nanny had to leave unexpectedly, Brooke stepped in caring for our 15-month-old daughter, and she fit seamlessly into the household from day one. My husband and I both work outside the home, and we’ve been able to trust her right from the start. She always goes above and beyond what's asked of her—she takes detailed notes on our daughter's schedule every day, sends us photos, and is always finding ways to help out with housework and keep things tidy. In addition to keeping our toddler safe and engaged all day, she does laundry, cleans dishes, prepares food, and countless other things that make the house feel nicer when we come home than when we left. She's also watched our 5-year-old daughter, and has come up with fun crafts and outings for the both of them. Our 5-year-old especially loves it when Brooke does fancy braids in her hair. She makes sure the girls eat a variety of foods and get plenty of outdoor time. She's never missed a day or been late, and our daughters always look forward to their time with her. She even "helped" our toddler make me an incredibly sweet Mother's Day gift. We will miss her, but we know she will be a great choice for her next family!
