About Brooke

I genuinely enjoy working with kids, and supporting them to learn and grow! I've babysat for over five years now (children aged 2, 3, 5, 8 and 13), taught swim lessons to children aged 2 to 16 for three years, lifeguarded for the same amount, and have coached youth sports for ages 4-8. I am comfortable caring for up to three children, and will follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules and preferred communication methods. However, I won't use physical discipline if asked. I tend to be gentle and use developmentally-appropriate support and discipline instead. I am Red Cross CPR and first aid trained for adults, children, and infants. I also speak English and Spanish. I am happy to help with housekeeping and swimming supervision. Since I'm Water Safety Instructor certified, I would love to teach your children how to swim! My approach is patient, creative, friendly, and I'm eager to learn more about your family's needs.
