About Brittney

A Journey to the Great Mother is an in-home infant nursery in Alpharetta, GA, caring for up to two infants ages 0-6 months from 8 PM-6 a.m. This is a nursery program--not traditional babysitting or nanny care. Our infant curriculum includes supervised tummy time, baby sign language, activities, feeding support, and gentle sleep-skill development. Meals are included for enrolled babies ready for weaning foods. I am a Great Mother Integrative Wellness Practitioner with training as a birth and postpartum doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, nanny, Newborn Care Specialist, perinatal mental health specialist, and childbirth educator. My approach is responsive, nurturing, educational, and family-centered. Enrolled families receive newborn sleep education and virtual lactation support, including guidance on feeding, latch, pumping, sleep patterns, soothing, wake windows, and healthy routines.
