Hello! My name is Wanda. I am a NCS (Newborn Care Specialist) and a private nanny. I have a wealth of childcare experience with specialties in newborn care and sleep training. I am a former in-home daycare owner/provider as well as a former infant daycare teacher. I am also a mother of two. I am CPR/First Aid certified, Covid and Tdap vaccinated and boosted. Wanda was so sweet! This was my first experience with care.com and she was a breath of fresh air from other nanny’s I’ve had. She was available with just a few days notice and made sure my 1 year old son stayed on his schedule. She provided advice in a caring way and I felt very comfortable. Would recommend!

We were incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Wanda as part of our family for a year, starting when our son was 4 months old. From day one, she fit right in and quickly became part of our family. Her genuine love for children gave us all the peace of mind navigating our first year with our little man. Honestly, this could go on and on - but here are the highlights: she helped us get our son on a consistent sleep schedule (which made our nights 100x better), and filled his days with reading, exploring, games, painted, and arts and crafts. She was always 100% focused on his needs and development. 
Punctual is an understatement - Ms. Wanda was there every single day, ready and eager to care for our son. She was a gift to our family and any family would be incredibly lucky to have Ms. Wanda. We cannot recommend her highly enough. 

I don't know how to convey, in a simple review, how wonderful Wanda is. She has been with us for 7 months and we wish she could stay forever. She is a true expert, a nurturer to her core, and the kind of caregiver you dream of finding for your child. She made amazing crafts with our kiddo, always came with activities full of fun, and brought such a passion for helping our child develop. Our children's emotional and developmental growth under her care has been remarkable. Their confidence has blossomed, and they've developed skills we never expected at such young ages. If you're looking for someone who brings warmth, creativity, reliability, and genuine care to childcare, Wanda is simply exceptional. Our family cannot recommend her highly enough.

Ms Wanda has worked with our family for the last 8 months. She has been nothing but professional, kind, trustworthy, and excellent in every way. We needed to bring on a nanny for our 3 month old daughter to stay with her until she turned 1. Ms. Wanda was early for her shift every single day for 8 months. She was never on her phone or making any type of person call (which is hard to find now a days). She made sure my daughter not only met, but exceeded all of her milestones. My daughter was walking independently at 9 months old because of the work Ms. Wanda did with her. She did wonderful crafts and took my daughter to activities outside out home. I am not a trusting person, I am a lawyer!... but I would trust Ms. Wanda with my most precious asset, my children. She could have the keys to my house and I know I could trust her 100%. She is also a newborn care specialist, which is great! She helped us make schedules for my daughter and also got her sleeping through the night really quickly! Wanda was our daughter's nanny for a couple a months. In the time she was with us, she was always on time, respectful and reliable. She was warm and caring, and our daughter love to be with her. 
She maintained well organized and clean the nursery and play area, and was always one step ahead making sure everything was ready for feeding time and naps.
When she first came to us, my daughter was having trouble with her daytime naps. Wanda helped our daughter sleep more during her daytime naps which also contributed to have a better night sleep. She definitely was instrumental in getting her on a schedule. 
Furthermore, she will do activities with our daughter like book reading, tummy time, sitting exercises, etc. which further her development.
She excedded all our expectations and we will definitely contact her again in the future if we need help again.

We have been incredibly blessed and grateful to have had the pleasure of having Wanda as our nanny for the past four months. From the moment she joined us, she has exceeded our expectations in every way.

From the beginning, Wanda demonstrated her impeccable professionalism and developmental progression knowledge of infants.  She is always punctual, reliable, and consistent. In fact, she arrives roughly ten minutes early and immediately washes her hands in preparation for the day. Furthermore, her organizational skills kept our nursery immaculate with a place for every item. Her professionalism exuded in all aspects of her caring for our son.

When she first started, our son (3-month-old) was not sleep trained or on a consistent schedule. Being a sleep training professional, Wanda immediately created a comprehensive schedule to fit his developmental needs and trained him to sleep in his crib. Additionally, she often took the initiative to introduce new activities, anticipated our son's needs before they became a problem, and provided invaluable input for our son's development. Her communication of developmental knowledge and activities allowed us to create a cohesive team in reaching our son's developmental goals. Since our son was 3-7 months, these milestones include sleep training, tummy time activities, solid food introduction, and crawling training. 

Wanda shows up each morning with a fantastic and warm demeanor which instantly created a strong bond with our son. Our son would light up every morning when seeing her. Her patience, kindness, and innate ability to connect with children on their level inherently built trust with our son and implicitly our trust in her. She has become a trusted extended member of our family.

Our family wholeheartedly recommend Wanda to any family in search of a professional, experienced, patient, caring, and outstanding nanny.  Our son flourished under her loving, responsible, and experienced care. She surpassed all our expectations and we are forever grateful for the immeasurable positive benefit she had upon our family.
